Review of Mimic (1997) by Gio H — 19 Jun 2007
I've been quasi-interested in this movie when it first came out. Guillermo del Toro co-writes and directs this horror/thriller from a script co-written by Matthew Robins. It was a decent thriller with some solid acting.
The storyline had some very interesting concepts which made the creature that more interesting rather than just some monster attacking. Overall, not a great film but not bad either. It certainly drives away from being B-movie status which could've easily have been.
