Review of Mimic (1997) by Ian T — 18 Feb 2009
Not quite as good as I remember from the first time I saw it. Interesting idea that almost works. Nice build up early in the film, leaving you really interested to see just what they are up against... then suddenly you see it, far too early, and the film blows its load.
After this, everyone just runs around for a bit, then either dies, or survives in a horribly contrived way. Really doesn't hold up after 12 years, but worth a watch if you like Mira Sorvino.
