Review of Mimic (1997) by Toni H — 18 Oct 2008
Far from Del Toro's best, but still better than most horror/thrillers. The first half is the best; leaving the creatures to your imagination. The second half loses its element of being scary because the movie makes the mistake of relying on CGI creatures getting up in your face, which fails, because CGI looks fake as hell, especially from 1997.
