Review of Millions (2005) by John T — 29 Aug 2008
I just saw this.
"God does NOT rob banks!".
Pretty good movie. A kid finds a bunch of cash (before it gets converted to Euros) and so he has to spend it quick He's really up on the saints so he does all kinds of good deeds (and then tells you when saint did it first).
What makes this such a great film, though, is the way it's films. The scenes switch in a comic-like fashion. Everything looks so great in this. The director is the guy who did 28 days later and Trainspotting.
The story is this: some kids find some money. One wants to give it all away to charity. The other wants to keep it all. Then they find out who's money it is.
It's a pretty religious movie. In the end money does corrupt. "Money makes it harder to see what's what." It had a pretty great ending.
