Review of Millions (2005) by Justin F — 31 Jan 2010
I enjoyed this film and and is yet another feather in Danny Boyles cap. It is a film for both young and old and does a good job of telling the story without being too sickly sweet. It touches on how money corrupts and causes more problems than it solves.
Alex Etel is good as is Daisy Donovan but Alun Armstrongs turn as St Peter (complete with Geordie accent) was the standout performance for me.
The soundtrack is also worth a mention as I thought it suited the films content.
