Review of Million Dollar Weekend (1948) by Matt M — 16 Jun 2013

An office worker who steals a small fortune from his employer, ends up sitting on a plane beside a woman who is being blackmailed and who begs for him to help her out of the jam. Not very original, though the characters are quite interesting.

One must give credit to Raymond who produced, directed, starred and wrote the story for this film, which may not be the best even as far as B-noirs are concerned, but is nevertheless mildly gripping and entertaining.
