Review of Million Dollar Baby (2004) by Bobkorg — 26 Jan 2005
The most depressing film I've seen since Mystic River. MR was basically unrelenting in keeping my mood low but Million Dollar Baby was good for about the first 3/4's until the main character becomes a quadrapelegic, then has her legs amputated, then wants to die but can't get any assistance so she bites her tongue to try to bleed to death, then is saved but keeps trying to kill herself, then finally succeeds in getting help to die.
Fortunately, I survived this movie and learned that I will have to do more thorough research before going to a film.
