Review of Million Dollar Baby (2004) by Max G — 07 Jan 2012
A knockout classic. The storyline is simple but very moving and heartbreakingly sad, unlike other boxing movies I've seen before. Eastwood, Swank, and Freeman all deserved the Academy Awards wins because of their incredible character study about their scars of their own.
Emotionally powerful beyond relief, just enough for it's Best Picture win also.
