Review of Million Dollar Baby (2004) by Michael L — 10 Jan 2012
Reflecting after seeing this film, I come to realize you do not see half of the punches that are thrown at your face as you watch this film. None of it is predictable at all. I'm glad I didn't see this movie in theaters because I would have been depressed afterwards.
The investment that we have on every character is there, even the ones that we learn to hate, we actually are emoting with the characters we love and the characters we hate. My favorite character is definitely Danger, it probably is the best underdog character that Jay Baruchel has ever played.
Best thing about this film, the dialog between Clint and Morgan. Ever seen that they both are in is absolutely a delight to listen to, I say listen to because you don't even have to watch them, just listen to them talk.
