Review of Million Dollar Baby (2004) by David S — 03 Dec 2012

I gave this a blu-ray purchase last week, and after watching again last night I realize this is one of my favorite movies of all time. Swank, Eastwood, and Freeman all deliver powerful performances while taking you on an emotional ride through a boxer's journey to the top and beyond.

I prefer this to Gran Torino, Changeling, and Mystic River: all excellent films directed by Eastwood that I consider some of the best of the past decade. If you missed this, add it to your queue sometime soon.
