Review of Million Dollar Baby (2004) by Alvaro V — 05 Jan 2014
This movie is more than a great tear jerker! The acting (and directing) by Eastwood, Freeman and Swank is top notch! The story is not even necessarily about boxing or about "women can do it too you know?".
This movie is not about proving anything, it simply wants to convey to us that believing in a dream but mostly believing in each other can drive us to improving ourselves and achieve greater things albeit "greater things" could mean something different for everybody.
A beautiful story of love and caring in a brutal environment!
