Review of Million Dollar Arm (2014) by Pete S — 18 May 2014
Million Dollar Arm is predictable from start to finish, and yet enjoyable. Jon Hamm does well as the protagonist and is well supported by the Indian actors. Alan Arkin's cameo is great! There's quite a few humorous moments.
However, I felt at times stereotype's were overused for sake of humor and the movie had pacing issues, really slowing down at some points. On the whole, Million Dollar Arm is a compelling and well acted movie, that despite its flaws, manages to entertain, put a smile on your face and leave you in high spirits.
