With a Million Dollar Arm, Disney delves into another minor baseball story of note akin to the Rookie in a way finding some untapped talent in the most unlikely of places, in this case Mumbai India as opposed to the Science Lab at a local high school.
Based on a true life story, the normal tropes and heart tugging takes place and is servicable with decent chemistry of the cast, would have been cool if a little more time had passed to see if these moves truly had a more profound impact on the sport as opposed to a foot note.
Meant to be taken strictly as is as heartwarming.
