Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Charlie P — 21 Jul 2012
This one gets a higher rating based on the set design and overall rich feel. The Coen's execute their gangster flick w/ visual expertise. The problem is weak performances by some of the cast, I especially dislike the performance of the lead, Gabriel Byrne.
Does feature great performances from John Turturro and Albert Finney (The Danny Boy scene is a classic).
