Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Michael K — 23 Apr 2009
The Coen's really know how to not disappoint. Each scene, especially the action scenes, you can see the Coen touch. This is a really good, double cross gangster film. The acting is top notch, not one weak link.
Gabriel Byrne does a great job in the lead, and shows why he's underrated. One thing that also added to the film was the film's score, it was really amazing. I was caught off guard by how the film wasn't that violent, most Coen movies are a little violent.
