Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by David S — 31 Oct 2009
Coen Brothers' gangster classic. Gabriel Bryne is never better as the thinking man's hood. Turturro as the cause of the disharmony between the Irish and Italian gangs is at his best. Miller's Crossing is where "problems" get solved usually at the barrel of a gun.
Not the best Coen movie but definitely worth a Saturday night in front of the Big Screen.
