Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Kevin K — 24 Dec 2010
This may be the best work of the Coens in my opinion, and with a track record like theirs that is saying alot. It has a super thick plot that may be hard to follow at first viewing but with repeat watches you will find yourself completley soaked in.
One of my favorites of the 90s and probably the most underrated gangster film ever made. It has Unforgettable characters, an engaging story, excellent direction. It even has plenty of surrealism, dark humor, and evil characters to please any fan of the Coen bros.
