Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Ben S — 06 Aug 2011
One of the Coen's best, Miller's Crossing holds up wonderfully on repeat viewings. All of the Coen trademarks are on full display -- stylistic setting, witty dialog, double-crossing plot twists, memorable characters, haunting score.
The scene where John Turturro begs for his life is one of those cinematic moments that bring goose bumps.
