Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Jeremy S — 28 Jul 2013
It's funny how no one mentions this movie when discussing the Coen Brothers, and yet it's one of their best.
Albert Finney getting into a gunfight at his house while "Oh Danny Boy" is playing in the background and John Turturro begging for his life in the woods are probably the most memorable scenes, but the movie is solid the whole way through, with a excellent cast.
