Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Chris B — 13 Mar 2017
This is the Coen brothers take on the traditional gangster film, and it is filled with their witty and harsh dialogue, great cinematography and distinct cast of characters who each have their own story.
The film is filled to the brim with intense and smart dialogue that keeps you on the edge of your toes. "Miller's Crossing" also has their constant and hilarious black humor that is prevalent throughout the stylishly brutal violence.
This is definitely not a film for those that's can't handle graphic violence or any other travesties involved in the gangster genre. If you can however, then this film is a masterpiece and excels in being one of the greatest of the genre and that's saying a lot! Highly Recommended!
