Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Jackie M — 05 Dec 2008
This seems to be a superior film in most ways when compared to Barton Fink, but I still enjoy Barton Fink more. Miller's Crossing is a great story that looks like a gangster film on the surface, but is really more concerned with the inner world of certain characters.
Gabriel Byrne's character is very well developed. I really like how this movie is stylized. For some reason, I like the humor in Barton Fink more, even though they are both dark comedies.
