Review of Miller's Crossing (1990) by Diego T — 12 Jun 2012
A slick gangster fable that is suspended in a stylishly make-believe world. Beautiful to look at and a twisting story full of classic Prohibition era dialogue make this lesser Coen effort an enjoyable ride.
Jon Polito and J. E. Freeman are the only ones who seem to be working on the correct Coen wavelength.
