I became a huge fan of the Coen brothers when I saw Fargo years ago. After that, I have tried to watch everything they have done. For some reason, Miller's Crossing is one of those movies that I hadn't seen yet.
When I saw that this was their gangster movie, I had to see it. I was not disappointed. The perfomances are top notch. This is not the action gangster flick but the thinking man's movie. Definitely on par with the other great works the Coen's have done.
Special props to John Torturro. He is one talented and underappreciated actor.
