[FONT=Georgia][b]There's one big problem with this movie, as I see it: it's anime. This is a movie about really human emotions and foibles, and while the animation is top-drawer, it can't do justice to this story.
In the final analysis, you need an actress to play an actress. As anime, it's gorgeous and a great story and the animation is lovely. It just can't get to where this story could go, were it told by humans.
