Out of the works of Satoshi Kon, Millenium Actress is in my honest opinion the weakest out of them. I'm not suggesting that it's trash or anything of the sort, but it's not something I'm going to parade around as solid gold.
Even Kon has his faults, folks, for no director is capable of having great films every single time. But it's decent enough to be watched. You just have to know that you can't turn your brain off, though.
It's not that sort of film.
