Part of the informal trilogy formed also by Paprika and Perfect Blue. This movie deals with reality as it is percieved and distorted through memory and the fictional medium of film. It's brilliant, exciting, and beautiful, like all of Satoshi Kon's work.
The ending is incredibly uplifting! Great music by Susumu Hirasawa.
