Review of Milk Money (1994) by Lee H — 19 Apr 2008
Perfect. A charming and innocent take on prostitution that speaks to the idealistic and good-natured child in us all. Asks us all to take a good hard look at ourselves before letting our preconcieved notions about a person deter us from getting to know the beauty that lies within them.
The cast is wonderful, especially Ed Harris as a science teacher and single father who just happens to be as frivolous and naive as his son. But Melanie Griffith steals the show and you can't help but love her as she pulls on your heartstrings with a performance that's sweet, and non-judgemental.
