Fantastic movie. It was funny, dramatic, emotional, and educational. That acting was superb, led by Sean Penn who gave a fabulous performance as Harvey Milk and was definitely deserving of his Oscar. The supporting actors were also great.

Emile Hirsch shined in every scene and James Franco (love the mustache) and Josh Brolin turned in great performances. Even though I knew what was going to happen at the end, it still blew me away and the candlelight vigil with Milk's final thoughts brought tears to my eyes.

I find it sad that we are going through very similar times still now and we need to fight for civil rights for all Americans. Everyone should see this movie.
