Review of Milk? (2012) by Philip C — 08 Apr 2012

Sean Penn the hard ass of the 80's plays an aging gay man (Harvey Milk) who decides to take on the tyranny and oppression of the government and police in the early and late 70's. James Franco appears in the opening scenes and even though I don't care about someone's sexual orientation it was kinda weird to see Sean and James kissing.

I guess it was knowing two straight guys were making out, but the show must go on. The movie is amazing and informative. I was not aware of any of this major aspect of in American History. The Emile Hirsch, the hard ass wanna-be gangster from Alpha Dog enters as a trick turning light foot.

I was impressed with the actors ability to go from hard to soft. This movie will make you laugh and cry and a bunch of other emotions in between.
