Review of Milk (2008) by Marty S — 04 May 2013
An excellent film! Sean Penn's performance is wonderful and the supporting cast is amazing! And Van Sant's direction is as expected is spot on. I never really knew the story of Harvey Milk but having seen this I am moved by his story.
My only critique of this movie is the timing of the release. It's a shame it couldn't have come out before the vote on proposition 8. Because it really could have had an effect.
