Review of Milford Graves Full Mantis (2018) by Michael C — 23 May 2018

Just about as close as we're going to get to seeing the ineffable and the unknowable made tangible. The film beautifully and lovingly depicts Graves and his life's work in an hour and half distillation that is in its own right an artistic journey.

We're drawn close to Graves while simultaneously given the freedom and tools to wonder about the scope and breadth of what's possible for ourselves and how we relate to and metabolize our world.

I won't try to be more precise with my language here--the film will speak for itself.
