What a mess. Plot was unnecessarily convoluted and poorly explained. We don't know why the characters are doing what they are doing most of the time. This was just action scenes stitched together, we know little else of what is going on.
Which is frustrating as this movie had real potential, if only the writing matched the capabilities of the cast. Alas it is all wasted. The best thing about this movie were the hand-to-hand combat scenes involving Iko but those were also ruined by nauseating shaky-cam.
