A confusing action thriller that had all the makings of a decent film but failed miserably in the editing room. With sudden cut scenes and a headache-inducing shaky cam, Mile 22 makes its overly complicated plot even harder to understand.
The characters weren't given the proper screen time to demonstrate any development and amidst the copious bloodshed Mark Wahlberg never seizes to stop monologging. I found this movie frustrating to watch, annoying, and incomprehensible until the credits roll.
