Review of Mildred Pierce (1945) by Dani M — 26 Nov 2007
A Classic, surprisingly entirguing and engaging. Ann Blyth is deliciously vicious, Zachary Scott is perfectly slimy and Joan Crawford is beautifully endearing as the harrowing wife and mother, a pillar trying to hold the whole thing together.
