Review of Mildred Pierce (1945) by Dashaun V — 21 Dec 2009
This movie is just wonderul. I hated Joan Crawford after seeing "Mommie Dearest" but, this movie made me completely forget about that and renewed the Crawford fan in me. And Ann Blyth gives a standout performance as Veda.
She was so believable, throughout the film I just wanted to punch her square in the face for what she was doing. I mean, pretending to be pregnant for some money? How cold can you be? Anyway, it's just a steller movie with a steller cast and should be viewed by every adult man and woman.
