Review of Mildred Pierce (1945) by Steve S — 08 Feb 2010
I love film noir but I prefer something like Double Indemnity over this. Veda made me so furious and I can't help thinking that I might know some people like her. Eve Arden as Ida Corwin was undoubtedly my favorite character of the entire film and made it worth watching.
The rest of the cast I am indifferent to for the most part except Veda of course, but who could feel anything but repulsion for her?
