Review of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) by Peter K — 27 May 2008
Other than nostalgia, some style, and a little humor, this movie was perhaps one of the worst I've ever seen. As usual, the villains are the best characters. Yes, I remember growing up with Power Rangers and I admit that I have fond feelings for them despite the fact that I never really liked them.
(How to put this--if you spent hours upon hours watching the corniest garbage (I wish I put a better synonym), you too might feel some nostalgia. This movie is on the same level as Care Bears and the Smurfs, both of which I grew up with.
Yeah, if you did not grow up with the Power Rangers, do not start now.
