Review of Mighty Joe Young (1998) by Tony1984 — 21 Nov 2018
A remake of a 1949 movie. Mighty Joe, the giant gorilla and star of the show, is an impressive creation considering it's a relatively old film from 1998 when so many of the CGI effects we have today were just unavailable.
A middle of the road movie with a nice feel-good message basically. A little educational as well re the motives and attitudes of mankind. It was lovely to see Bill Paxton who is sadly no longer with us.
