Review of Mighty Aphrodite (1995) by Adam E — 27 Jul 2008
One of Woody Allen's best later films, Mighty Aphrodite manages to be not only very funny but also very smart and thoroughly original. Mira Sorvino's performance is a treat and her voice is simply hilarious.
Allen is of course a good sport and provides numerous brilliantly surreal moments. Excellent.
