Review of Mighty Aphrodite (1995) by Paul P — 21 Jan 2009
A surprisingly charming and not-too-contrived story. Woody Allen embraces his neurotic, stuttering, mousy role with ease and Mira Sorvino is initially irritating but becomes surprisingly likable. I actually liked the story as well.
It was not the usual romantic comedy crap and had an interesting wrap-up.
