It's very differentto the book in the way the story is told and its overall feel. But that's as it should be. It's a great story and beautifully shot. Very much a Deepha Mehta film. So I don't understand the bad reviews.

I saw it at a film festival with a packed audience of movie lovers so perhaps that makes a difference. I really enjoyed it.
