Review of Midnight Sun (2006) by Kimberly P — 01 Aug 2007
The story was moving. A girl allergic to the sun, having dreams of spreading her music and then getting a change...it was really inspiring, but the acting was way down there. Not a surprise though, since Yui is a musician and not an actor.
I expected more from Takashi Tsukamoto. His character or maybe his acting all together was hard to watch. It felt really fake. The best part of this movie was the music. Yui is a very talented artist who should stick to music because she has a really angelic voice that's so wonderful too listen to.
I think this film and her music helped start her career and helped her gain incredible popularity. :) Yay!
