Bounty Hunter Jack Walsh is tired of his life of being shot at, run over, and almost killed every night. Jack has one chance to quit his life of a bounty hunter by bringing in an accountant Jonathan ?The Duke? Mardukas. What seems to be an easy midnight run turns into mayhem as the accountant has embezzled fifteen million dollars from a mobster who is hot on his trail to get his money back. The FBI is also hot on his trail as they need the accountant to put the mobster away for life. Now Jack must run across the country from New York to Los Angeles all while evading mobsters, FBI agents, and a rival bounty hunter in a mayhem filled four days.
Midnight Run is a classic action comedy that were popular genre in eighties. Midnight Run stars Robert DeNiro at his best and work well with veteran actor Charles Grodin. Midnight Run has everything balled into one. The movie supplies great one liners mixed with some hardcore action. Midnight Run is the perfect movie to watch on a late Friday night for some good laughs and some good times. Midnight Run gets five bounty hunters out of five for bring funny, action packed, and a great cast that delivers great performances.
