Review of Midnight Run (1988) by Adam E — 24 Jul 2011
Pretty good movie overall. Carried by Charles Grodin's and Robe DeNiro's excellent chemistry. Outside of that, and Robert DeNiro being a complete dick (and I mean that in a complimentary manner) to Duke, this is still like every odd couple movie I've ever seen.
Issue is the movie is probably 20 minutes longer than it needed to be and it just drags in some parts. Shave off those 20 minutes and you have a better and more enjoyable movie on your hands. That's really it, not much to say other than that.
