Contrast reviews by Roger Ebert and some guy in the New York Times - and I'll side with Ebert: A great road and buddy movie, and the score, by Danny Elfman, is first-rate. Come on, now, what's not to like about this film, with so many great lines in it - as in, Who the f**k are these guys? Lesser known fact: The film inspired Janet Evanovich to write her wildly successful Stephanie Plum series, now in its eighteenth installment with no signs of letting up any time soon.
