Review of Midnight Movie (1994) by Erik O — 09 Jul 2009

I really loved the premise, it was nice to see something original and creative in a Horror movie for a change. The movie does falter a bit, but it contains likeable characters, an intriguing plot, truly amazing sets, and one of the coolest-looking killers that I've ever seen, so there's plenty of redeeming qualities that more than make up for any "down moments.

" I don't think it fully lived up to its potential. But, as I said before, it was creative and original, and in light of the ridiculous remakes and PG-13 outings plaguing our cinemas, this film is really a breath of fresh of air.

And that alone makes it worth seeing.
