Review of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997) by Cliff B — 19 Feb 2010

There's really nothing I don't like about this film. Every character is memorable, right down to the pets. Perfect casting and performances. No compelling moral arguments, just a sort of take life as it comes attitude.

.. and a sense that justice will prevail, with or without our influence. Most of all, it reminds me to enjoy the strangeness of those around me, and to try not to bother judging... it's refreshing to be reminded from time to time that my opinion really doesn't matter and the truth is none of my business.
