Review of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997) by Katannya Y — 21 Apr 2008
I read the book before watching the film, and I'm glad to see that Eastwood loved the characters of Savanna as much as I did, especially Chablis. However, I do not know if people unfamiliar with the novel would have been as interested, given the "inside" jokes and information outside of the film itself.
Nice performance by John Cusack and Chablis was hilarious, as expected.
