Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Skyler M — 21 Aug 2013
This movie was a beautiful and interesting film starring Owen Wilson as a writer who goes to Paris with his wife and friends. He is also very interested in famous authors and literature and rainy days. One day though he takes a walk at midnight and then gets into a taxi, where he meets F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda. Figuring out that he accidentally was transported into the 1930s, he soon meets other famous people including Pablo Picasso and shows these famous historical figures his book he's writing. His wife, after hearing these stories think he's insane. I would recommend this movie (which is like a book in a way) to people who love smooth music, a good story, famous historical figures, or even Owen Wilson!
Story: Like a story in a book and very very amazing. 5/5.
Characters: Very likable main character and interesting depictions of historical figures. 5/5.
Music: Nice accordion and beautiful sounds,it even plays 1930s music! 5/5.
Overall: 15/15.
