Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Wesley R — 13 Oct 2012
Woody's love letter to Paris. Reminded me of his Manhattan in that respect. One big difference, the hero in this later movie is a lot smarter than Woody was in Manhattan, or maybe Woody is more the hopeless romantic now than he was then.
Here the hero gets the girl in the end instead of pushing her away like Woody did to Muriel in Manhattan. Anyway, I enjoyed this movie, both the beauty of the place and the concept of the advantages and disadvantages of living in another, presumably golden, age.
